Maintenance/distribution notice

Just a quick notice to let you know that all three currently published books in the Lotte Freundenberger series will be switching distributors in preparation for the fourth one which is scheduled for early next year. I also intend to move the entire Black Werewolves series.

While I love wide distribution and all the benefits it offers to readers, a girl’s gotta eat and this arrangement, unfortunately, isn’t working out.

Once the move is done, both series will be available solely on Amazon (under different ASINs as I’ll be using their platform directly), and as soon as they’re taken off all extended channels, they will be enrolled in KU to match the rest of the titles in the Kolovrat universe.

All my fantasy books (Shadowfire Trilogy, Iron Head Trilogy, Forged in Flames) will remain wide, as will Cotton Candy.

Thank you for understanding while I switch things around!

With love,

Gaja

Quick Shadow World Announcement

Some of you might have noticed that the pre-orders for Shadow World have been cancelled/disappeared off vendor sites. And yes, that’s all true.

First of all, I’d like to stress that Shadow World will be releasing on December 18th as originally planned. But…

(Here comes the fun part)

Okay, I love technology. Seriously. A-freaking-dore it. But sometimes, the relationship just doesn’t quite go in the direction one would expect. Sounds familiar?

(I hope not, though I think the answer for most people on that would be a grumbling yes)

Unfortunately, this wasn’t a case of a printer not hooking up to wi-fi or a computer freezing (or even Word doing its thing and correcting words despite having auto-correct off). Nope, this had to do with distribution and something fishy going on with the pre-order commands not going through once entered into the system.

Since I didn’t want to wing it and hope for an outcome that wouldn’t be a complete mess, the only way to go forward to was to wipe the slate clean and start again. So that’s exactly what I did.

I’m still not sure if everything is solved now, but at least it looks that way.

And, hopefully, it will stay that way all up until the 18th, when Shadow World releases.

Last but not least, I want to thank everyone who had their pre-orders cancelled for their patience. As well as all of you who’re probably clicking on dead links in the meantime.

(*aggressively writes down FIX LINKS in bullet journal*)

Seriously, I love all of you, and I hope you’ll enjoy Crina’s story in a little less than two weeks’ time!

Release day: EVENFALL

55373d2ed99710fc92328cec0ca8fa18dd6279c3

“The thing I noticed above all else when unconsciousness released me from its talons of darkness, was that for the first time in my life, I found myself gazing at the night sky.

The second, just as enchanting, yet infinitely more unbelievable, was that the world around me was no longer mine.

A raspy laugh escaped my lips.

I should have been scared, terrified of this impossibility. But I didn’t have the strength to do anything more than roll over onto my back and drink it all in.

Above me, a spill of flickering, pale golden light scattered across the canvas, painting a breathtaking blend of black, violet, and deep blue. My breath hitched as a thought wormed its way in. I blinked, refusing to acknowledge that hopeful voice in case this smattering of illuminated specs was a consequence of my…fall?

Given my undignified position and the sting that crawled across my palms, I had to have fallen.”

The Games are over. But the fight has just begun.

When one of her coaches goes missing, fixing the club’s tarnished reputation becomes the least of Lotte’s problems. Especially as her mission to locate Voit puts her in the path of the one person she desperately hoped to avoid.

Refusing to subject herself to Isa Vogt’s volatile presence for a second time, Lotte forms an unconventional alliance with a demon who’s set on bringing her coach to safety. But a common goal isn’t the only thing Lotte and Afanasiy share.

As their attraction deepens and the string of disappearances shifts to murders, Lotte can’t bring herself to walk away. From the demon or the case.
